Tahani Ruhi Helmi is a dedicated journalist, lecturer, and trainer; Human Rights defender and passionate about social change; media and social responsibility.

Throughout the 25 years of experience, she managed to correlate the social issues with the rights of minorities, refugees, and gender in the world of media.

She is regularly engaged in raising awareness projects on media also social action related to Human Rights.

Tahani has worked as a journalist for over 16 years while living in different countries. Her multicultural mentality broadened her holistic vision was enriched. In addition to traveling to more than 35 countries with the investigative eye of a journalist.

Tahani has engaged in various activties including managing pioneers’ projects on youth empowerment programs over the theme: Al Karama (Human dignity).

Tahani regularly participates as speaker at various local and international platforms and conferences, and hosts pioneer Round Table discussions with key players on the topics related to empowering youth, Interfaith and other social issues.

Tahani is a Media consultant at Waee center for Human Rights training.
